Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Print Hive handles information when you use our websites, applications, APIs, MCP server, agent plugins, HiveLink, and related services.

Information we collect

We collect information in the following categories:

• Account and organization information: name, email address, authentication records, organization membership, role, and account preferences.
• Billing information: plan, subscription, and transaction records. Payment processors handle complete payment-card details on our behalf.
• Fleet and production information: printer identifiers, connection state, telemetry, job history, model and file metadata, Makes, materials, inventory, maintenance records, and operator annotations.
• User content: files, names, tags, notes, prompts, and other content you choose to submit to the service.
• Integration and agent activity: OAuth grants, tool calls, requested scopes, approvals, audit events, and responses needed to operate and secure connected agents.
• Device and usage information: IP address, browser or client type, diagnostic logs, performance data, and interactions with our sites and applications.

How we use information

We use information to:

• provide, maintain, and improve Print Hive;
• connect, monitor, and operate authorized printer fleets;
• authenticate users and enforce organization and tool permissions;
• process subscriptions and communicate about the service;
• detect abuse, investigate incidents, and protect users;
• meet legal obligations and enforce our agreements; and
• analyze product performance and develop features using aggregated or de-identified information where practical.

Agent plugins and connected services

When you connect ChatGPT, Codex, Claude, or another compatible client, that provider processes the prompts and tool results you send through its product under its own terms and privacy policy. Print Hive limits each MCP call to the authenticated organization and granted OAuth scopes. You can revoke a connection from Print Hive or the connected client.

Do not place printer access codes, network passwords, recovery credentials, or payment information in an agent conversation. Enter printer credentials only through the designated Print Hive setup flow.

How we share information

We may share information:

• with infrastructure, storage, analytics, communications, payment, and support providers that process information for us;
• with services you intentionally connect or direct us to interact with;
• with members of your Print Hive organization according to their roles;
• when required by law or reasonably necessary to protect rights, safety, users, or the service; and
• as part of a merger, financing, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate safeguards.

We do not sell personal information for money.

Retention and security

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and protect Print Hive and its users. Retention depends on the data type, account status, subscription, and security requirements.

We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect information. No system is completely secure, so users should protect their credentials, use least-privilege scopes, and promptly report suspected compromise.

Your choices

You may update account information, manage organization access, revoke integrations, and request access, correction, export, or deletion of personal information, subject to applicable law and legitimate retention requirements. Browser settings may also control cookies and similar technologies.

Children

Print Hive is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the service or applicable requirements change. We will post the revised policy here and update the date above.
