Print Hive public operations snapshot

A narrow, transparent view of the aggregate operating statistics Print Hive can publish today. These values are observations from the product data source, not a customer outcome study or an industry benchmark.

Observed aggregate metrics

Recorded print hours

2,370,345.5

Elapsed hours summed across completed jobs that have both start and completion timestamps.

Completed print records

16,774

Jobs marked completed that have both start and completion timestamps.

Jobs with recorded error information

3,410

Jobs with a non-empty error code or error message, regardless of final status.

Methodology

  1. The page requests three existing server-side aggregate functions: total_print_hours, completed_prints_count, and print_errors_count.
  2. The first two aggregates use completed jobs with start and completion timestamps. The error aggregate counts jobs with a non-empty error code or error message.
  3. A snapshot is displayed only when all three calls succeed and all returned values are finite, non-negative numbers.
  4. The page records the render timestamp in UTC. It does not extrapolate, forecast, or convert the counts into a failure rate.

Privacy boundary

Only aggregate values are rendered. This page does not expose an organization, customer, printer, job, model file, operator, or camera frame. No named customer claim can be inferred from these totals.

Limitations

  • These aggregates describe records available to Print Hive; they are not representative of all 3D print farms.
  • A job with recorded error information is not necessarily a failed print. The aggregates can overlap and do not support a failure-rate claim.
  • The page does not currently segment by printer model, material, farm size, job duration, or time period.
  • Historical definitions may evolve. Material changes will be reflected in this methodology and its modified date.
